Early closure of the school may be necessary in adverse weather conditions or because of e.g. a power cut or heavy snow. Highland Council has recently introduced a School Closure website. Information about this site appears on the reverse of the Adverse Weather sheet. Contact information is requested at enrolment and updated annually but is important that any changes to this information are notified as soon as possible. The school may need to contact you if your child is unwell or if the school will require to close early, e.g. if there is a power cut or weather / road conditions are extreme. The contact details held by the school will not be disclosed to anyone out with the school staff and are subject to regulation by the Data Protection Act.
